The Guardian Generator is a fully automatic generator with a permanent connection to the home electrical system through an automatic transfer switch. In normal operation, the transfer switch supplies the home with power from the electric utility. The Guardian Generator detects an outage the moment it happens. The generator starts and signals the automatic transfer switch, which disconnects the utility and connects the generator, restoring power within seconds after the outage hits.
